COURSE DESCRIPTION: Ground disturbance deals with many jurisdictions including federal, provincial, and municipal governments as well as regulatory agencies of the federal and provincial government. It is these regulatory agencies that set requirements/rules for ground disturbance activities.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Identify and define ground disturbance
Describe the hazards of ground disturbance, Emergency Response Plans and the causes and consequences of contact
Describe approvals and agreements that are required for ground disturbance
Describe stages and responsibilities involved in ground disturbance
Describe acts and regulations affecting ground disturbance
Discuss key points in Provincial OH&S regulations
DURATION: The duration of the course is 8 hours and includes a mandatory written theory test (English only).
