The course begins at 8:00 am unless otherwise noted. Participants should arrive 5 to 10 minutes early.
FALL PROTECTION COURSE DESCRIPTION: Fall protection refers to the use of equipment and techniques to protect someone from falling at height. In the event that someone does fall, proper fall protection may prevent that person from sustaining severe injuries from the fall.
This industrial/commercial Fall Protection Program is recognized by all major Saskatchewan employers including Coop Refinery, K+S, Mosaic, Husky Upgrader and Cameco. This course meets CSA requirements and exceeds OH&S requirements.
Jonathan Nickel is a nationally certified Fall Protection Instructor and gives end users an Accredited Certification.

COURSE OBJECTIVES: This one day program includes theory, tools and knowledge of fall protection to safely work at heights. The course material is energetically delivered and includes hands-on activities, video analysis, and focuses on student participation.

To identify the components of personal travel restrain and fall arrest systems
To understand equipment specifications, limitations, care and inspection
To understand methods of proper planning when controlling fall hazards
To understand the need for rescue planning and preparedness
DURATION: The duration of the course is 8 hours and includes a mandatory written theory test (English only).
